Jason Bateman Quotes

“My goal is to get another 30 years out of this business. So I need to figure out the fuel to do that. And so far, I think it’s respect and quality and company, not celebrity or box office or stardom. It’s not a sprinter’s approach. It’s more like a long-distance thing. You can stick around a lot longer if you kind of slow-play it.”

“I only wanted to get married once, so when I felt I was ready to handle it, I looked at my relationships and noticed that boyfriends get tired of girlfriends, and vice versa, but you never get tired of your friends.”

“Meeting my wife Amanda was the best thing that could ever have happened to me. She wasn’t going to let me screw around my life anymore, so I stopped drinking and started behaving like a decent human being.”

Key Takeaways from Jason Bateman Career

Make sure you know what you want in life, but also in love

Since when he was young, Jason had a crystal clear idea of what he wanted to do in life.

But what about love? He quoted that he knew he wanted to get married only once. And he eventually found the perfect companion in Amanda.

Why? Because she is also his best friend, and, like he said, you never get tired of your friends.

This is key in a relationship. Make sure that the person you are with is also your friend besides being your partner.

By making sure of this, you know for sure you get the complete package.

Find a person who makes you happy and helps you to better yourself as a person

Jason found in Amanda – besides love – someone who made him a better person, despite the flaws he had at the time.

If you find a person who, besides loving you, also helps you become a better version of yourself, fight for them. Fight to keep them in your life, since they really love you and you should be grateful to have them by your side.
